YOGA ClASSES

Dharma I/II
Appropriate for students who are just moving up from Beginner to the Intermediate level, as well as those who have been practicing for a while & want a slower pace and or want to learn Dharma (Mittra) Yoga. The sequence will warm the body, bring flexibility to all muscles & joints, & wake up the nervous system. A gentle yet powerful series of balancing, stretching, back bending, twisting & mild inverted postures will follow. This practice ends with Deep Relaxation, breathing exercises, & concentration / meditation to remove impurities & bring a sense of well-being to the body & radiant peace to the mind.

Dharma Gentle
Experience the wonderful benefits of a gentle class led at a slow pace so that you may receive many restorative benefits. Light stretching and restorative poses allow your muscles and joints to open while listening to soft music. Gentle yoga combines deep breathing with stretches and gentle yoga postures to release tension and improve relaxation, thereby reducing pain and stress. This class ends with a deep relaxation aimed to restore balance and inner peace.

Crystal Bowl Sound Session
Come relax in savasana and absorb the healing properties of Crystal Alchemy Bowls. Crystal bowls are singing bowls composed of quartz crystal and infused with other elements of the earth to help align the chakras, clear energy, sooth and uplift. They are known to strengthen the immune system, prevent health problems and promote glowing vitality. During the session you literally absorb the sound frequency and it helps the body to heal on a cellular level. It is very important to drink water upon completion.

Pranayama & Meditation
Pranayama and meditation enhance every aspect of life. These practices of control and direction of breath(prana) help quiet the mind and prepare us for meditation, and ultimately Self-realization, where the mind rests in oneness, stillness and peace. While connecting to the breath and exploring awareness to the mind, one gains the ability to find presence in the moment and higher sense of inner calm. Come learn these beautiful breathing and meditation practices as taught by our teacher and guru, Sri Dharma Mittra to gain balance of spirit,body and mind.

Kids Yoga
This class combines classical yoga and mindfulness practice with a playful attitude that will help your child develop skills like self control, self care, awareness, and compassion for self and others. The benefits of yoga will help to ensure your child radiates health by becoming more calm, compassionate, patient and learn to have better control of the mind through the quality of breath.

Mommy & Me
Mommy + Me Yoga is a beautiful way to connect with your baby and continue to foster your personal yoga practice. Moving at your own natural pace and rhythm during the post natal months will help to nurture your body and mind. This class gives you the opportunity to connect with other moms and gives you added support during the amazing journey of motherhood. Lots of time is given to tend to the needs of your baby. Breastfeeding mom's are welcome at all times.

Rise & Shine
Start your day off with an hour of bliss. This morning class concentrates on awakening the energy, strengthening the spine and promoting a clear peaceful mind. Hatha yoga postures promote balance, flexibility, and circulation in the organs, glands and tissues. Every class ends with a meditation.

Private Session
Come explore postures as taught by our Master Teacher and Guru, Sri Dharma Mittra in a one on one session. You'll practice asanas, as well as important breathing exercises, which are key to restoring vitality and a balanced functioning of the inner workings of the body and mind. All sessions will end with meditation and a guided deep relaxation to recharge and renew.

Vinyasa Flow
Discover your true nature allowing yourself to cultivate an attitude of playfulness, discovery and bliss while you flow with your breath in the present moment.. This gentle Hatha class with help wind down your day, quiet the mind and create serenity. Expect a great night’s sleep! This class will be calming but also create an inner power to get you through your week. Every class ends in a meditation.

Hot House Hatha
Further the detoxifying benefits of your yoga practice by turning up the heat in this heart pumping hot house hatha class. The heat will also help to loosen tight muscles and joints. Uplifting energetic music will sure to make this practice energizing and recharging. You will learn that Yoga is not about flexibility, but awareness - AWARENESS of the BREATH and the body.
